As proud Lamar alumni, we share a deep appreciation for the school’s history, traditions, and the lasting friendships formed on campus. Today, you have an opportunity to help preserve some of Lamar’s most recognizable and cherished features — the front lawn, the oak trees, and the historic school façade.

We have launched the Front Lawn Preservation Project to ensure that our beautiful three-acre lawn, nine heritage oak trees, and the building’s distinctive architecture are maintained with the same care and excellence that define Lamar. Years of fluctuating district budgets have limited maintenance to occasional mowing and basic cleaning, threatening the appearance and integrity of our beloved campus.

To address this, we are creating a permanent endowment fund dedicated exclusively to the upkeep of the front lawn and façade — guaranteeing professional landscape care, arborist services, and building maintenance for generations to come.
