This year's Distinguished Alumni Luncheon will be on April 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the River Oaks Country Club.

The honorees this year will be:

Bruce Belin, Class of 1944
Jimmy Brill, Class of 1951
Tommy Tune, Class of 1957
Scott Caven, Class of 1960
Jan LaMaster Redford, Class of 1960

Tickets will be $100 and will go on sale in March.

The Alumni Association is hosting a trip to Galveston on May 1, 2010 for the 8 p.m. show "Steps in Time" featuring Tommy Tune at the Grand Opera House.

The cost of the ticket + bus ride will be $60 per person.

Joe Rogers, long time Web Administrator for Lamar High School Alumni Association (this website), passed away in November 2009. Joe was an amazing man who put an incredible amount of his time and energy into making this website fun, informative and useful for all Lamar Alums. He will be sorely missed.
