Robotics Team

News: One of the newest clubs at Lamar is the robotics team known as the Discobots. The team began in 2007 and won its first awards - the Judges Award and the Website Design award in the 2009 – in the FIRST National Robotics Competition. FIRST is the national competition that aims to inspire students in the engineering and technology fields. The teams most recent win was the Excellence Award in the VEX Competition in 2010
