This very first Alumni Board did not have a full compliment of 12 Board Members; it was hard to find people to volunteer to serve.

The superscript numbers following a member’s name i.e., 99, 0 or 1indicate a member’s current term expiration date, 2000, 2001 and 2002.

* In the beginning, the Alumni Association was started by Parents* as well as Alumni.
**PBM = Past Board Member
r = Retired Board Member, The Board Member may have retired during a current and active term and could have been replaced by another person therefore changing the number of Board Members in a given year. Also that member make have taken on the duties of a Committee Volunteer in that and subsequent years and is therefore continuing to be listed but under COMMITTEEs.

The Lamar High School Alumni Association, Inc. received its Certificate of Incorporation from the State of Texas effective July 9, 1998 and the IRS has approved Lamar High School Alumni Association, Inc. as an authorized 501 (c) (3) organization.
